Trinity University is just 4 miles from the heart of downtown where San Antonio’s famous River Walk is lined with unique restaurants, bars, and shops. We are also just a bike ride away from the Pearl Brewery development, a culinary and cultural destination along the north banks of the San Antonio river.
Closer to campus, popular Trinity hangouts include Bombay Bicycle Club, Taco Taco Cafe (there’s even one on campus!), the original Taco Cabana, Tycoon Flats, Main Street Pizza, and Chris Madrid’s. Just up the road, students frequent The Quarry Market, with dozens of restaurants, shops, and a movie theater. The St. Mary’s strip, Upper Broadway, and Southtown also feature an eclectic variety of bars and eateries.
In the mood for music and dancing? Sam’s Burger Joint, a favorite live music venue among Trinity students, has swing dancing every Monday and live music throughout the week. Visit Carmens de la Calle or Jim Cullum’s Landing for some smooth jazz, Azuca for salsa and tango, or Cowboys Dance Hall for modern country.
