Travelers from near and far visit San Antonio for annual, world-renowned events. Fiesta, Luminaria, and the Rock 'N' Roll Marathon are just a few!
Viva Fiesta! Fiesta, San Antonio’s annual 11-day, city-wide party, honors the heroes of the Alamo and the Battle of San Jacinto, and celebrates San Antonio’s rich and diverse cultures. Catch Trinity’s float during the Texas Cavaliers River Parade, or come back after graduation to walk with Trinity alumni during the Battle of the Flowers Parade.
Arts come to light during Luminaria, a night-time public arts festival in March in downtown San Antonio. Luminaria features music, dance, film, literary arts, theater and visual arts from all over the country. Works for this grand festival are all centered on the general theme of light.
The Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon acts as a running tour of many local landmarks, including the River Walk, the San Fernando Cathedral, the King William District, the Pearl complex, the Alamo and other historic missions. As its namesake would suggest, the marathon also features numerous live bands along the way and cheerleaders for extra motivation.
Catch the marathoners this year when they run through Trinity's campus!
San Antonio features tons of other events!
