In the “Global Religion” Discovery, students engage the history, practices, and texts of global religious traditions in their cultural contexts. The combined set of courses enables students to develop informed, empathetic, and critical perspectives, and to enrich their own understanding of the world and its religious diversity.
Requirements
Completion of at least 9 credit hours from any combination of RELI courses that includes at least 2 upper-division (3xxx or 4xxx) classes.

- A student must complete at least one Discovery to qualify for graduation .
- Courses in the Discovery must be taken at Trinity University.
- Students can also fulfill the Discovery requirement by completing a second major or a minor.
