After tooling up with basic mathematical and statistical ideas students will investigate the decision making process and necessary techniques needed to produce goods and services from the managerial perspective.

Requirements

Completion of 13 credit hours consisting of:
BAT 1101 Spreadsheet Modeling
BAT 2301 Statistics for Business and Economics (prerequisite MATH 1305 or 1311)
BAT 2302 Fundamentals of Information Systems
BAT 3301 Operations Management (Prerequisites BAT 1101, 2301, 2302)
One of BAT 3304 Lean Process Improvement (prerequisite BAT 3301) or BAT 3394 The Japanese Production System in Context (only offered as part of the faculty-led study abroad program to Japan)

Additional Information

  • A student must complete at least one  Discovery to qualify for graduation

  • Courses in the Discovery must be taken at Trinity University.
  • Students can also fulfill the Discovery requirement by completing a second major or a minor.
