The environmental studies major and minor complement a variety of disciplinary majors at Trinity and provide a foundation for a career in environmental issues. Required courses address environmental issues from natural science, economic, and sociocultural perspectives.
The major in environmental studies offers opportunities for specialized study in three concentrations: environmental science, environmental policy, and environmental arts and humanities.
The environmental studies minor provides an interdisciplinary study of Earth's environment and how human beings interact with it. The required courses address environmental issues from natural science, economic, and sociocultural perspectives. The minor requires at least 12 hours of lower division courses and at least 9 hours of upper-division courses.
