The Novel Coronavirus outbreak is an evolving situation which we are following closely.
At this time, there are NO cases or suspected cases of Coronavirus on-campus.
A degree in theatre unlocks students' creative abilities in the performing arts by providing a theatrical experience within the context of a liberal arts education. The program's main stage production schedule includes four major events a school year, and students may begin participating in productions their first year on campus.
The major in theatre hones artistic discipline in acting, directing, and design for theatre while enhancing students' historical and analytical skills through an appreciation of theatre history and dramatic literature.
The theatre minor consists of 20 hours, including University Theatre Company I (two semesters for a total of 2 semester hours), 9 hours from a required core of classes, and 9 hours of additional theatre electives, of which no more than 3 credit hours of directed study or special topic courses may be applied.
