Bringing MAS to Trinity

Members of the MAS faculty regularly bring speakers, performers, exhibits, and films from Latin America and Spain to campus. We offer a wide array of courses in Spanish on topics related to anthropology, archaeology, art and art history, biology, communication studies, economics, environmental studies, film, literature, political science, sociology, and theater of Latin America and Spain.

MAS fosters the continued growth of international studies opportunities by supporting both Trinity-based programs and collaborative efforts with other colleges and universities. The MAS program ensures that these opportunities are accessible for all Trinity students.

Taking Trinity to MAS

Trinity's geographic proximity to Mexico offers the opportunity to provide short-term international experiences to our students that few undergraduate institutions can match. Through MAS, students participate in international faculty-led trips, seminars, internships, and research opportunities. This expansion of learning opportunities to international venues complements other curriculum development efforts of the faculty and intellectual interests of the students.

MAS offers competitive funding for internships, study abroad, or other international experiences, bringing these opportunities within financial reach of Trinity students. Students are encouraged to apply to Trinity's Summer in Madrid program, where they can participate in Spanish-speaking business and commerce in the Spanish capital.

MAS also encourages students to choose international and multicultural programs that add another dimension to their liberal arts and professional studies as well as enhance their personal and intellectual skills and abilities.
