Trinity’s interdisciplinary minor in New Media is designed to prepare students to function professionally, academically, and personally in diverse new media environments. Students build an understanding of new media in relation to art, art history, communication, computer science, English, engineering, philosophy, psychology, music, and more.

The minor, which requires 21 semester hours, promotes new media research, development, and designing while preparing students for careers in new media and other fields that are being transformed by evolving communication technologies.

Courses

The 21-hour new media minor requires 12 hours of core courses and 9 hours of electives, 6 in application and 3 in context.
