Fitness Education

Students should possess basic knowledge, understanding, or skills that will help them to make good decisions relating to health throughout their lives. 


Students must successfully complete one approved fitness education course.

Students will be more likely to engage in a healthy lifestyle of exercise and physical activity if they:

  • possess the necessary skills to participate in a lifetime sport or activity;
  • understand fitness, exercise, and physical activity and their importance.
