School Group Visits

Trinity University is pleased to offer the opportunity for groups of 10-50 high-school-aged students through our Group Visit Program. Please consult the information on this webpage about our Group Visit Program, request process, and our limitations that exist during various points during the year. 

Trinity University Group Visit Policies & Procedures

  • Groups interested in visiting Trinity University with 10-50 high-school-aged students must request a Group Visit. Our maximum capacity is groups of no more than 50 students, with one group scheduled per day.
  • Our group visit consists of a one-hour tour and a 30-minute information session.
  • We require a three-week advanced notice for group visits to ensure we provide a quality visit and are able to make necessary arrangements.
  • We are unable to host groups during the following times:
    • Saturday, Sunday, or University Holidays that fall Monday through Friday
    • Columbus Day and the prior Friday (October 11 and 14, 2019)
    • Fall Recess (October 11, 2019)
    • Thanksgiving Break (November 25 - 29, 2019)
    • Winter Break and MLK Holiday (December 2, 2019 through January 20, 2020)
    • Presidents' Day and the prior Friday (February 14 and 17, 2020)
    • Spring Break and the prior Friday (March 6 - 15, 2020)
    • Good Friday Holiday (April 10, 2020)
    • Summer Break (May 4, 2020 - August 31, 2020)
  • We are unable to host groups during the following times:
    • Trinity in Focus (September 21, 2019)
    • Trinity in Focus (November 16, 2019)
    • Trinity in Focus (January 25, 2020)
    • Trinity Tower Scholars Day (February 8, 2020)
    • Tiger Friday (February 21, 2020)
    • Tiger Friday (March 20, 2020)
    • Tiger Friday (April 3, 2020)
    • Trinity 360 (April 18, 2020)
  • We will request the following information from potential groups through our Group Visit Request Form:
  1. Name of school and address
  2. Name of group (if different from school)
  3. Number of students attending
  4. Number of chaperones
  5. Name of contact
  6. Contact phone number & email address
  7. Name of principal and their phone number & email address
  8. Transportation type and company contact information (if available)
  9. Age and/or grade level(s) of group

Please note that the Trinity University Office of Admissions responds to and schedules group visits on a first-come, first-served basis. If you're planning a group visit to campus, we encourage you to submit your materials in advance of our three-week deadline. We will not be able to accommodate your request if your request is either incomplete or not submitted before the three-week deadline.

The Office of Admissions does not accommodate group visits for grades K - 8th. For questions about setting up a group visit for these grades, please email the Department of Education at education [at] trinity.edu.
