Corporations & Foundations

Trinity University is proud of its many corporate and foundation donors. Without their support, the University could not accomplish its educational mission. Trinity's donors are corporations and foundations from San Antonio, Texas, as well as from throughout the nation and the world. These donors range from small local businesses to multinational corporations.

Donor opportunities for corporations and foundations include:

  • Major gifts and grants to create unique, permanent endowments at the university, often named after the company or foundation
  • Membership in the university's Business Affiliates program
  • Matching gifts for employees who have donated to Trinity
  • In-kind gifts such as food and supplies for events or equipment donations
  • Tax deductions on all gifts and grants.

Large gifts may be paid over several years if necessary.

Business Affiliates

The Trinity University Business Affiliates is a distinguished group of Trinity's closest corporate supporters. Business Affiliates make restricted gifts to specific initiatives, or unrestricted gifts of $2,500 - $25,000 to the Annual Campaign. These annual gifts are used exclusively to provide scholarship and financial aid to outstanding young women and men.

Each year individual Trinity students are matched with Business Affiliate supporters. Business Affiliates are told whom their student is, and in turn, the student is informed of their corporate sponsor. This relationship is particularly rewarding when the student and the Business Affiliate's representatives are given a chance to meet at an annual reception in the spring.

In additional to helping a specific student attend Trinity, there are other privileges afforded to Business Affiliate members. They include:

  • Complimentary tickets and networking opportunities for corporate representatives to the Policy Maker Breakfast Series. (Past speakers have included Christiane Amanpour, Tom Ridge, Bob Woodward & Robert Novak.)
  • Recognition on the Policymaker Breakfast Series printed program
  • Preferred seating at the Distinguished Lecture Series and the Flora Cameron Lecture in Politics and Public Affairs
  • Use of the Skyline Bistro for Private Events (small fee associated)
  • Campus parking decal
  • Special invitations to many Trinity events
  • Invitations to Making Connections and other recruitment events
  • Trinity Magazine

Membership in the Trinity University Business Affiliates is open to sole proprietorships, partnerships, foundations, and corporations.
