For nearly 150 years, Trinity University has relied upon the generosity of alumni, parents and friends to provide the outstanding education to creative leaders who change our world for the better. Trinity offers highly motivated students an interdisciplinary liberal arts and sciences experience designed to stimulate creative thinking, inspire academic excellence, and encourage engagement with the broader community.
The staff in the major gifts office works with alumni, parents and friends of the University who are as passionate about our mission as the earliest founders were, and want to continue the tradition of giving with outright gifts of $100,000 or more to further that mission.
These gifts establish endowments for student scholarships or provide departmental and research support funds. Major gifts can also directly support the University's efforts to build new facilities, revitalize existing ones, continue offering small classes with dedicated faculty and provide challenging opportunities for students to explore the world around them through internships and study abroad.
We could not be the University we are today without the support of our major donors who want to invest in the quality education that Trinity provides. Endowed funds provide income each year from outright major gifts, which permits us to grow as a leading liberal arts and sciences institution.
