Emma Krabill
Class Year: 2019

Emma Krabill currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Scenic Mountain Medical Center and has over 10 years of leadership experience in the health care industry, specifically in the west Texas area. Her first degree was an associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from Amarillo College. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in biology and international business and communications from Hardin Simmons University and a MBA in healthcare administration from the University of Phoenix. She is currently pursuing a master of science of healthcare administration through Trinity University in San Antonio.

Samantha Bos

Samantha Bos won the Texas Council for Learning Disabilities Teacher of the Year. She will compete for the National award announced in October at the Annual Conference. She is also in a publication with Heather Haynes Smith '97, '98 and Courtney Crim '93 that will come out this year.

Alexander Bretoi recently left Nielsen, where he focused on press analysis and quality assuring music consumption data that powers the iconic Billboard Charts. He is currently pursuing a new career with Apple in Business Strategy and Analysis for iTunes & Apple Music. He has proudly performed national anthems at multiple MLB spring training games for the New York Yankees, Detroit Tigers, Philadelphia Phillies, and Baltimore Orioles.

Elisa Reyna is on track to become a digital marketing master! She won employee of the year in her first year in the workforce and has recently accepted a new position at Scientific Games.

John Villacis

Along with providing care as an Allergist/Immunologist, he is currently serving as President and Board Chairman for The ADC Physicians, a 120 provider multispecialty group in Austin, TX.

Carrie Dodrill
Class Year: 1992

Carrie Dodrill, Ph.D., has opened a private psychotherapy services practice focusing on general emotional health, with a specialty in social anxiety and shyness. Dr. Dodrill previously acted as a staff psychologist at the Michael E. Debakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Houston. Dr. Dodrill graduated from Trinity University in 1992 and completed her Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Houston in 2003. Her clinical internship year at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2001-2002 focused on inpatient treatment of Serious Mental Illness and outpatient Cognitive-Behavioral treatment of mood and anxiety disorders. She was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Texas Houston Health Sciences Center in the Department of Family Medicine from 2004-2006. The Fellowship focused on manualized, evidence-based treatment of substance use disorders and health behavior problems. Dr. Dodrill continued this work as a Research Assistant Professor until 2009 when she joined the Debakey Veteran Affairs Medical Center. While at Debakey, she worked in various programs including Behavioral Health/Primary Care Mental Health Integration, General Mental Health, and as an Implementation Research Coordinator for the Substance Use Disorders Quality Enhancement Research Initiative, and in Compensation and Pension.

As part of his doctoral research, Lee F. Koch will present a poster on changes in response behavior at the University of Education Schwaebisch Gmeund, Germany, on June 28, 2018. His presentation is titled "Use of the Delphi-Technique for Research in Healthcare and the Social Sciences."

Amy Smolen
Class Year: 1991

Amy Smolen was recently named the process automation project execution expertise area leader within the TES Core Engineering Technology Center. She lives in Lake Jackson, Texas, with her husband, Ed. They have two sons, Zachary, who is studying civil engineering at UT Tyler, and David, who is a junior at Brazoswood High School. In her spare time, she enjoys travel and reading.

James Holmes recently celebrated the eighth year of Robur LLC, an oil and gas trading and logistics firm that he founded. He also practices oil and gas law and commercial law in Dallas.

Two years ago, David Imhoof was promoted to full professor at Susquehanna University. He has served as a director of Susquehanna's Global Opportunities and collaborated with Trinity's study abroad program for three years.

Michael L. Mullins
Class Year: 1987

Michael L. Mullins, senior vice president with Ascension Healthcare, has been named ministry market executive for St. John Health System based in Tulsa. Mullins will serve as chief executive for all of St. John’s sites, which include seven hospitals and more than 90 health care clinics and medical facilities in eastern Oklahoma and southeastern Kansas. Ascension is the largest nonprofit health system in the U.S. and the world’s largest Catholic health system.Mullins was named interim CEO for St. John Health System in September 2017. Since July 2016, he also served as president and CEO of Wichita-based Ascension Via Christi, the largest provider of health care services in Kansas.Under a new Ascension structure, Mullins will lead both the Kansas and Oklahoma markets. Mullins formerly served as the chief operating office for Ascension’s St. Vincent in Indiana.Mullins has more than 30 years of hospital leadership experience, including Quorum Health, where prior to joining Ascension he was regional vice president.Mullins is a retired captain of the Medical Service Corps, U.S. Naval Reserves.Mullins has a master’s degree in health care administration from Trinity University, San Antonio, and a bachelor’s degree in political science from University of Texas at El Paso. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Susanna Russell has recently joined Garland ISD as the Associate Superintendent for Leadership, Transformation, and Innovation. Her daughter, Lily, will be a freshman at Sachse HS in the fall.

Sarcastron Intramural Softball Team

Twenty-five Trinity alumni and family spanning the Classes of 1984-87 gathered for the third semi-regular reunion of the Sarcastron Intramural Softball Team. The squad gathered for food, drink and a completely-legit blackjack tournament at the wonderfully weird Historic Anchor Inn in Lincoln City, Oregon July 5-9. Enjoying the very non-Texas-like weather (highs in the 60s, lows in the 50s), alumni traveled from as far away as Washington, D.C. for the event. Susan Ramlet
Class Year: 1984

Susan Ramlet has led a user experience design team for Medtronic, a manufacturer of medial devices and services, since 2004. She is also a freelance singer for several professional music organizations in the Minneaplois-St. Paul, MN, area. She frequently collaborates with fellow Trinity graduates Cathy '89 and Chris '88 Crosby-Schmidt. Ramlet's mother, Barbara Walter Hodges '53, lives nearby.

Rhea D. Morales
Class Year: 1986

Rhea Morales has been teaching in Cochise County for sixteen years. In April 2018, she was honored as the Lowell Jr. High School, Bisbee, AZ, Teacher of the Year and recognized at the Cochise County ceremony honoring educators. Morales is also a charter member of the Sierra Vista Community Band, where she has played piccolo and flute for the past nine concert seasons.

Erick Blackwelder lives with his wife, Patty, in Northern Virginia, 20 miles south of Washington DC. Both of his daughters were married in 2017. They now have two fantastic sons-in-law. The Blackwelders bought a new home in March 2018. He has been currently working as Branch Marketing Director at the Herndon Virginia branch of Churchill Mortgage for two years, and he loves it.

Leslie Bogar is the Director of Profession Learning on the Colorado Association of School Boards. She oversees association communications, events, and school board leadership development program.

Lark Doley is currently the President of Toastmasters International. She recently returned from an overseas trip promoting Toastmasters throughout Asia. When not traveling, she lives in a lighthouse overlooking Lake Travis.

David Fischer

David Fischer was named Distinguished Alumnus at Colorado State University and was inducted into the the Hall of Fame of their Department of Economics. Fischer was the first graduate to receive a doctorate in economics from Colorado State University 50 years ago.
