Dance the night away at the Welcome Week Concert, or cheer your friends on in the Spotlight Talent Show. On campus, Trinity students participate in, organize, and attend annual arts and entertainment events. Off campus, San Antonio arts and culture awaits!
The concert, a part of New Student Orientation and Welcome Week, is held on the baseball field after the student involvement fair. The concert starts off the year with entertainment and fun!
A stand up comedy show is a part of every Welcome Week. The University brings a comedian to campus for a few clean, hearty laughs!
At Trinity's own "Idol" contest, Trinity students compete for the coveted title in Laurie Auditorium in front of 600+ audience members. Performances include covers and original songs, and often collaborations with instrumentalists.
TigerFest is composed of TigerFest week and the TigerFest Gala. TigerFest week seeks to promote campus spirit, unity, and serves as the University's homecoming celebration. The TigerFest Gala is Trinity University's homecoming dance.
The Chocolate Festival occurs every February on the Esplanade. The event features free chocolate for all students, staff, and faculty as well as a competition between the student organizations.
Spotlight Talent Show is the annual campus-wide talent show held during Spring Family Weekend. Expect performances from dancers, singers, artists... and maybe even roller-skaters!
Go Spurs Go! Cheer on the Spurs at the AT&T Center with fellow classmates and other members of the Trinity community. The Spurs host Trinity University once in the fall semester and once early in the spring. Trinity Night at the Spurs is sponsored by Residential Life.
If students find themselves free on a Saturday, they can always come to Skyline for Saturday night fun including trivia, games, and entertainment.
Each semester, art students exhibit current works in the Neidorff Art Gallery. Students exhibit all types of artistic works, from panting and photography to printmaking and digital design. Visit the gallery's page for the current schedule→
Four times a year, students take the stage for various theatrical performances in the Stieren Theater; in between mainstage shows, students perform works in the Attic Theater and Cafe Theater.
Head up to the rooftops of the McLean or Prassel residence halls, and chances are you'll catch an impromptu concert. From acoustic sets to electronic music, students have been known to give pop-up concerts to their peers under the stars.
With art museums close to campus, and downtown events a short bike ride away, Trinity students have lots of opportunities for entertainment in San Antonio.
