Theresa Georgia Wilson, longtime member of Trinity University’s Business Office, died May 1. She was 94.​

Wilson graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and attended Trinity, where she worked as an accountant in the business office for 52 years.

She was the first Trinity employee to be recognized for serving 50 years, and she went on to work two more years. Wilson started as a payroll supervisor, then served as an accountant and also an endowment manager. At her 50-year celebration in 1997, the Rev. Raymond Judd, chaplain emeritus, recalls her saying, "Trinity University has fed me in three ways: intellectually, financially, and spiritually. Trinity is a good investment where the assets outweigh the liabilities. I hope that I have distributed some of the dividends to each of you."

Wilson was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, Friends of Hospice, Tuesday Musical Club, Opera Guild, and the Trinity University Women's Club.

Wilson is survived by her nieces, Kathleen Wilson Thompson and husband Jim Thompson of Austin; as well as Linda Wilson of Edgartown, Mass. She is also survived by cousins Justice Sandee Bryan Marion, Pam Davis, and Julie McClure.

Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 10 with the Rev. Dr. Patrick Gahan officiating and the Rev. Judd assisting. A memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. at at Christ Episcopal Church, 510 Belknap Place, San Antonio 78212.
