Trinity Cancels Community Events
University carefully monitors COVID-19 Situation

Trinity has canceled all University events, on or off campus, as it continues to closely monitor the public health situation related to the coronavirus.

While campus and community events have always been central to experiential education, this decision follows updated CDC guidelines on large group gatherings and social distancing. The University desires to protect members of the Trinity community, as well as guests and visitors to campus or at Trinity-sponsored events off campus.

Cancellations are in effect until May 13, 2020 and include all University-sponsored or third-party-sponsored, in-person events. A decision on undergraduate and graduate commencement ceremonies will be posted at a later date.

All updated events information can be accessed online at events.trinity.edu. Additionally, no new events will be scheduled at this time.

If updates are made to reschedule events as virtual experiences, Trinity will invite the community to participate through notifications on events.trinity.edu and other Trinity web entities, the LeeRoy Daily Newsletter, and social media outlets.

Visitors to campus are discouraged as all buildings on campus will be closed to the public and to students. Visitors who do come to Trinity’s campus must comply with the University’s most up-to-date travel policies.

Please look for regular updates on Trinity’s COVID-19 website at gotu.us/covid19.

Remember to wash your Tiger paws. We look forward to being back together soon.
