Trinity is number one in Texas, top-50 nationally in latest College Consensus rankings

College Consensus has named Trinity University the No. 1 university in Texas, ahead of previously top ranked Rice University, and No. 49 in the nation on the Top Consensus Ranked Colleges & Universities list. These comprehensive standings serve as a tool for prospective students to stack up their top college choices  alongside other schools in the U.S.

College Consensus ranks U.S. colleges and universities by combining data from the most respected college ranking publications and the most reliable student reviews online to create the Publisher Rating and the Student Review Rating respectively.

Trinity averaged a Publisher Rating of 76.5 and a Student Review Rating of 74.4, giving it a combined score of 75.5. Rice University posted a combined average of 75.2, while The University of Texas at Austin scored 71.3, respectively.

The Publisher Rating is an average of numbers determined by U.S. News & World Report, Forbes, Wallethub, and others providing an average score from the major publications. The Student Review Rating is derived by averaging scores from sites like Cappex, Niche, and Student Review creating a comprehensive picture of how students view their college. The overall College Consensus score is calculated by averaging both ratings and disregards aspects such as size, location, or classification. This score allows incoming students and parents to see which colleges experts respect and students enjoy.

Trinity University is known for its challenging and supportive academic environment, personalized attention from outstanding faculty, large school resources, post-graduate preparation, and vibrant campus life. Trinity encourages students to discover, grow, and become.
