Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education Ranks Trinity Among Nation’s Best Colleges
Trinity recognized as No. 37 liberal arts institution and No. 100 university in the nation

The Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education has ranked Trinity University as the No. 37 liberal arts institution and the No. 100 college in the nation.

These rankings are generated from 15 individual performance indicators aimed at answering the questions that matter most to students and their families when making the choice of which college to attend. These indicators range from likeliness of graduating on time, paying off loans, and securing a good job, to the resources provided at the institution, to how diverse the campus community is.

Trinity and other universities recognized in this list are noted for the strong academic reputation behind their programs. In particular, the liberal arts ranking acknowledges American institutions that emphasize undergraduate study and exposure to a wide variety of subjects spanning science to humanities. Additionally, liberal arts programs have a unique approach to making the classroom as engaging as possible by favoring small class sizes to enable enriching and individualized faculty attention.

Given that Trinity prides itself on the multidisciplinary nature and student-centered environment in its classrooms, these rankings acknowledge Trinity’s rising reputation among liberal arts colleges.
