Trinity's department of communication teaches theories and skills that prepare students for careers in media writing, production, advertising, and public relations. Students have extensive opportunities for hands-on media experience through TigerTV, the student-run television station; KRTU, the campus radio station; the Mirage, the student-edited yearbook; and the Trinitonian, the campus's independent, student-run newspaper.
The department of communication's integrative curriculum allows students to thoroughly study media structures, media messages, and media management with a flexibility that reflects the revolutionary changes now underway in the field.
Our expert faculty members prepare students to research, plan, and produce content for a variety of clients, across multiple-media platforms and through varied outlets.
