Trinity’s film studies minor gives students the power to understand—and impact—the modern, evolving form of cultural expression that is film. Students have the opportunity to study film principles in history and theory, while putting them into practice through video production, photography, and writing.

The minor in Medieval and Renaissance Studies takes students on an interdisciplinary voyage of discovery as they reexamine their assumptions about the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. Students engage in hands-on work with primary sources and cutting-edge research to take a multifaceted, deeper look at key moments in the past.

Women and Gender Studies

The interdisciplinary minor in women and gender studies explores the cultural construction of gender and sexuality in the context of intersections with race and class, global and domestic politics, religion, and critical theory through literature, visual arts, and other media. Women and gender studies students bring a passion for activism, equity, social justice, and empowerment to the classroom and the broader community.
