Types of Tutors
The QRS is staffed by two kinds of drop-in peer tutors:
- General tutors who can help with lower-division coursework in particular disciplines (e.g., economics).
- Course-specific tutors who are sitting in on a specific course and hold dedicated hours for students in that course.
Center Hours
You can peruse this schedule spreadsheet to see which general and course-specific QRS tutors will be working at a given time during the week to help you plan your drop-in sessions.
Regular Hours: Sunday through Thursday, 3–9 p.m., (beginning Tuesday, August 26)
Holidays: Sunday, August 31 (the day before Labor Day); Thursday, October 16 (the day before Fall Break); Sunday, November 23 through Saturday, November 29 (Thanksgiving)
