Trinity's political science department provides students with a strong foundation for the many career options in law, politics, public administration, non-governmental organizations, teaching, foreign service, and international affairs.
Trinity's political science programs offer students an extensive course curriculum that prepares them for graduate school, law school, or professional work. Our faculty possess diverse perspectives and areas of expertise, which provide students with information they need to make informed decisions on local, national, and international political issues.
Trinity offers political science courses in five concentrations: comparative/international politics, American politics, American politics and law, American public policy, and general political science. Additionally, students have opportunities to gain experience in the field through local, national, and international internships and various study abroad opportunities.
Alumni have successfully pursued leadership positions in a variety of careers at the local, national, and international level.
